Mike retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in 2017 after a career that spanned four decades. He served in a variety of command and staff positions and completed multiple combat deployments. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Design Engineering, has an MBA from National University, a Master’s in Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Master’s in
International Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
